The Bite The tuna are coming! Long range boats are getting lots of tuna! The long range fishing boats are getting 75-0 to 210-0 yellowfin tuna! Looks like it's going to be a good year for tuna fishing. The long range boats are getting wahoo during the times the tuna slows down. Great start for the tuna season! Local boats are still getting giant squid, calico bass, sand bass, halibut and sculpin. 16 pound halibut are being caught off Long Beach. Party Boating West coast partyboat fishing is some of the best fishing around. Below are the links for the local partyboats and the long range boats. In Southern California, local party boats go for Albacore, Barracuda, Bonito, Calico Bass, Sand Bass, Halibut, Rockfish, Sculpin, White Sea Bass and Yellowtail.
